Sail Away “Outfit”

Here is a picture of Brigitte and I all dressed for our Sail Away on Allure of the Seas. I talked her into wearing – what I call – The Las Vegas Bikini Heels…! Flip Flops are just not sexy enough for a Cruise Vacation OnBoard the Ship – leave those for the beach.

The “Bell Skirts” were also a fun addition to our bikinis. I have used those Party Skirts as a Bikini wrap on EVERY cruise. The ship will have live music pool side – and those little coin skirts are a show stopper..! It doesn’t hurt that I have a “thing” for any Drummer in a band as he has the beat that my skirt has to keep pace with…! So much fun to dance with…!

Gotta LOVE that Armando calls me Shakira…!! I will be nearly 52 when we sail on Oasis – and I will once again wear my favorite Sail Away outfit…! My years for enjoying my bikinis are nearing and end – BUT NOT YET…!!!

Sail Away is FUN…!!! This is where your vacation officially begins. Prior to this moment decide on a meeting place with friends and family. Oasis has cantilevered Adult’s Only Hot Tubs that hang out over the sides of the ship – Patrick and I were in there once for Sail Away and waved to all of the people on shore..!

Make your choice for Sail Away very casual – be comfortable. If the weather is beautiful wear shorts. Just keep in mind that being outdoors on a ship can be VERY breezy – and many of the seasoned cruisers will be scanning the “first time” cruise girls who select a short flowing skirt or sundress – as it will NOT be hanging down…!!

You’re going to Party, Run Around Exploring and maybe Dance – so choose comfortable shoes to get you thru the early hours. You can always change for dinner as the first night and the last night are the most casual attire.
